| Hmmmm - I have a few garters and stockings from Victoria's and Frederick's. Both are fine. I find that the clips can come undone easily so sometimes I need to readjust them. Mainly it just seems to take longer to put them on which can be a killer if I'm rushing around. I tend to just wear pantyhose or thigh highs - btw I have good luck with the thigh highs from Hanes - they fit well and are pretty comfortable. Whatever you do avoid the backseamed stockings if you are dressing for work - I can never get the seams straight when I wear them. |

I wear natural colour stockings with sheer tops, which are less conspicuous, and a garter belt of the standard type common in the 60’s. I ordinarily wear fairly short skirts and almost always a slip. My suspenders have very thin straps so in case they show they will be less noticeable.
