What is the best blue black hair color to put over black hair? I was just wondering if it is possible to die black hair blue black. I have used manic panic before on my natural black hair, but only when it was bleached. The bleaching seriously damaged my hair and dried out my scalp. So, i dont want to bleach my black hair again, but I love the look of blue black hair. What's the best blue black hair dye that sticks to black hair and gives it an obvious blue tint? |
| go to a salon supply store and get a blue enhancer for ur hair and u do not have to bleach it...it will only give it a bluish tint that u want and only use a 10 volume peroxide it works |
How do i add blue highlights to my jet black hair? i saw a raven's wing a while ago and it was the most beautiful shade of blue-black and i totally want my hair that color.i have natural black hair but i use temporary jet black color every month to make it darker and it looks amazing on me.i tried a temporary blue-black dye but it just looked like black.does anyone have any ideas? and i want nothing permanent. |
The permanent way to get the blue highlights is to bleach the sections you want to dye first, then apply the blue color.
A non-permanent way is to use hair mascara or a colored gel, though with black hair your best bet is probably the mascara. Both of these product will wash out in one to two washings. |
What are the pros and cons to dying hair blue-black? I'm planning on dying my hair a blue-black, and I want to know things like how long it will last, what color it will fade to, etc. Right now my hair a darkish brown. Thanks! |
Pros: It doesn't fade, it will most likely just be less shiny after a few washes. It will always turn out exactly like it says on the box. It's the easiest color to dye your hair. It's less damaging than lighter color. You can get Revlon Blue Black for around 3 dollars so it's cheap.
Cons: It doesn't fade. You would have to strip it out if you want to go lighter which could damage your hair. It runs in the shower for a WHILE. |
Which blue black hair dye looks the bluest? I've dyed my hair blue black a couple times now but it doesn't have that blue tint I've seen on other people, it just looks really black. Is Feria bright black good? |
I was going to ask the same exact question and I agree that black hair with a tint of blue looking kind of color is very hot. I'm actually going to try try Bright Black of Feria tomorrow .
Goodluck to you as well . |
What happens if i dye my hair blue black? i already have black hair to begin with, with little strands of brown from my previous hair color. i want to dye my hair blue black because i am going for that jet black look with hint of dark dark blue to make it look extra shiny under the sun.
what is a good brand? i heard loreal starry night is. what would that look like on my hair? will the blue even show up? |
| It's black hair, and Once in the Sun, It makes a Blue tint..It's a really pretty color.....Shades is a Good brand, It's a Demi-Permanet, So it's less damaging..But it's also a Professional Brand...If your looking for something you can get a Sally's, Get Loreal(Exellence, I think the name was.) |
Are there any other dog breeds except for the Chow that have a blue-black tongue? My dog has a couple blue-black spots on the bottom side of his tongue. Trying to figure out if he is part chow or not. |
A shar pei. But if your thinking that a spot or even a dark veil on a tongue means that one of these breeds is behind a dog that isn't necessarily true at all. Many breeds have spots of pigment on their tongues and they are pure bred. So a spot or a veil is not significant of the breeds behind a dog at all times.
I found a site with some pictures in case that was why you are asking |
How to dye my hair Blue Black? I want to have my hair pitch black but with a blue sheen on it. I have tried many dyes called blue black, but they never work. There is no blue sheen and they wash off in a week even though they say permanent. Anyone have any recommendations? Even instructions on how to mix my own dyes? |
Garnier 100% color www.garnierusa.com/_en/_us/our_pr…
my sister dyed it a while back and she didn't need to re color it for like 3-4 months and you could still see the blue black on her hair.
Good luck! |
What blue hair tints are recommended for black hair? Are sabastian Colourshines any good? hi, i have dark black hair and i want to add a semi permanent or temporary daark blue tint to it. anyone have any idea what products would be a good idea, nothing too damaging. im thinking about sabatian colourshines in their black orchid..a blue/black, but not sure if u can actually see the blue tint on hair, i want something kind of noticeable. thank you! |
| If you have dark hair then colurshines would be the safest way to go. There is one shade that will really add a good blue tint..I forgot the name of the shade it is but the color of it is like a cookie monstor blue. Its for dark hair if I put it on mine it would be a crazy bright blue...anyways I would try that. |
Would Blue Black hair look good On a black girl? My friend wants to dye her hair, she is a dark caramel complexion, do you think blue black will look good? |
| Better than black hair on a blue girl . . . sounds like a country song. |
My hair has been bleached to blonde, What would be the colour result of a blue/black dye? my hair has been bleached blonde for approx two months now, conditioned regularly, and am now wanting to go a nice black with a blue tint. I want a more black than blue result. the dye I have is schwarzkopf Live XXL in "cosmic Blue" as the colour on the box was the preferred shade. My hair is a very light blonde colour. Will the result be more blue than black because of the bleach? |
| I would Definitely die your hair black first, then about a week later I would use a blue TINT not color. Be sure to use a product that focuses on conditioning, Loreal Preference is very good and I think you would like the jet black, It is very beautiful and shiny, very natural looking. The only reason you want to wait a week to put the tint on is to give your hair a break and keep it from getting split ends and drying out.Good Luck, I think it will look great! send me a pic if u would like kcairns01@yahoo.com. |
