Also, most agencies want a body shot and a head shot, and sometimes a mid-length body shot. Next, after taking your photos go to an agencies website. | How tall you are and how much you weigh doesn't necessarily determine whether you would be considered as a good model or not. A lot of companies these days look for people with unique features or a "good" bone structure in the face. It also depends on what type of modelling you would like to do. Height is an issue if you are looking at runway models as they are normally about 5' 9" to 6' 1" but there can be exceptions! Plus there are lots of different types of models as well so find out which one you are interested in by looking on the net. I would recommend seeing if there are agencies in your local area that run courses if you are really interested. They could be fairly expensive but you would be getting hands on experience about modelling from people who really know about it. |

| First, you should NEVER have to pay for a modeling agency. if you do they are a scam. Im not sure what agencies are in Whales, but just do some research before you commit to an agency. Dont just sign a contract just because they make you feel good and talk you up; they may be a scam and make you pay in the long run. You will have to have a portfolio to present; take some head shots and some full body shots with a photographer. it is hard to get your foot in the door, but once you do that, you will have endless oppurtunities.
